    I was able to log into AIX through the serial port using putty just fine. I then updated to TL 12 SP 5 and installed openSSH.

    Now as soon as I configured my ethernet card the console stopped working. It would get to the "Welcome to AIX" screen on boot but nothing after that. No login prompt. I could only login via telnet from then on.

    Is there any configuration option to get it to work again?
