Hello, I'm getting this error:   'java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1'

A similar post said C++  2015 Runtime needs to be updated.  That error was out of range: -4.  On our server C++ 2010 was updated a little over a month ago.  I've been using the same server for our license manager for 9 years now and never had a problem.  Any ideas?

    thank you - BW

I'm getting this same error as well when trying to run LicenseActivator. Did anyone find a solution?

    Hi Jacob,

We have a Known Issue DT449052  about the error message you are getting.

You will need to upgrade to the latest License manager 9.6.2 /Tools 9.10

    License manager 9.6.2 /Tools 9.10:  https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6607649

Go down to "For details on Removing the prior version of the Concurrent License Manager and Tools" and click on the link with instructions on removing/installing.

FYI: When installing the latest license manager there will be 2 installs  1- Manager and 2 - Tools
