    Did one of you already used a Dell powerstore ME4 with a Power9 and a Power8 through SAN?

    DId you face compatibility issue ?

    Questions & issue related to storage compatibility are best addressed by the storage vendor. 

    I recommend reaching out to Dell Storage Support to confirm whether the specific storage model is officially compatible with IBM POWER systems through SAN.
    If the vendor confirms compatibility and you encounter issues, please open a case with IBM Power AIX Software Support: How to Open a Case and report the issue.

    Hello Sandrine,
    Power 8 is not supported, anymore.
    There is an old technote related to supported and tested storage for VIO servers here.
    It basicaly says "Contact your storage vendor representative for model details."

    better to check with Dell EMC support for the compatibility between Dell storage and IBM Power servers .

    however, we've many clients who are working on Dell storage and IBM Power servers
