    If you are tying to find out a replacement DB that works in AIX and Solaris, you can try looking up Oracle, DB2, mySQL, etc. The list is rather short nowadays really. Their websites will tell you their prereqs.

    Of course you can do all that unix commands and create roles and profiles but I would like to know it is possible to administrate these systems unix across a similar product.
