    Hi IBM Community,

    I have a quick question regarding LDAP connections. Can you help please?

    Which protocol would be used for a secure port on your LDAP server if I were creating an LDAP connection from the Manage users page?

    Hi Jonathan,

    I believe the following topic addresses your question:

    In the LDAP protocol field:
    • If you are connecting to a secure port on your LDAP server, select ldaps://.
    • If you are connecting to an unsecured port on your LDAP server, select ldap://.

    The same is true in Cloud Pak for Data 3.5.0.
