I have recently downloaded the 30 day free trial of SPSS statistics subscription build 1.0.0.1447. I want to perform a Mann Whitney U test between two groups. I see that there is a new version and a legacy version that I can use to perform this test. I like the new version results output with the graph better than the legacy. The main question I have is can I use the new procedure with the free trial? I read that you have to have SPSS version 18 or higher to do the new procedure and I am unsure what version the free trial uses. Is it ok for me to use the new procedure using the free trial? Thank you.
The trial version corresponds to the latest main release (it might not include fixpacks). There is no problem with using the newer version of the procedure in the trial, which is currently V27.
Thank you Jon
