  • 1.  Scenario for Advanced reservation to reserve some CPUs on some hosts

    HI

    We need to have advanced reservation scenario, were we can reserve only few CPUs for on few hosts.

    Currently advanced reservation allow to reserve N x HOSTS or N x SLOTS.

    We have few 128 Slots hosts and we want to reserve only 70 slots per host on few of them for one user.

    We wish to manage it with same idea of creating advanced reservation on not by creating limits in lsf.resources.

    Any idea you can share?

    I think the challenge is slots per host which Advance Reservation seems not able to do for now. You may still need to use time based limit configuration in lsb.resources
