I wrote a program that uses the tanalyze command to analyze all the trees in the new version, but I can not find a way to convert the tree itself to the new version without opening and saving it from the type designer. Is there some kind of convert command I am not aware of? It would sure save a lot of time...

    If you have any trees supplied with the software, you should use the new version and any tree created with an imported should be re-imported.
    Especially XML, if you want to use the newer features.
    Do not try to run any older maps using the xml adapter in 8.x, it does not exist and the map will fail.
