Just as a silly idea .... is there still enough space on the corresponding hard disk? In the event of a Java crash, Cognos likes to generate huge amounts of large dumpfiles that clog everything up.

Functionality to save to file system must take a while after Cognos restart to become fully active.
We can now run some reports as needed.
However, and I don't know why, some bursted reports with long file names are still failing.
The long file names are created by the burst criteria

All of a sudden all our reports (bursted & non-bursted) are not saving to the file system.

As far as I know our Production Cognos is unchanged (our lower SDLC environments work without issue).
We have tried restarting Cognos services without luck.
Any thoughts as to cause would be greatly appreciated.
