  • 1.  SAP default port

    Hi,

Just wondering, what is the default port(s) the webMethods SAP adapter connects to when establishing a connection to an SAP system?

    Thanks
    Alex

I am facing the same dilema.
We have a SAP system IP change and we are asked to check the connectivity from the IS host to the new IP. Since we are not aware of the SAP system Port, not sure what port needs to be used for Telnet.
We already tried few default ones like 80, 443, 3200 etc.

Anyone who can share any info will be helpful.

    Regards,
    Mayank

    Hi,

this depends whether you are connecting to the instance directly or through SAP-Router.

When using SAP-Router the default dispatcher port is 3299.
When connecting directly the default gateway port is 33xx, where xx stands for the system number of the SAP instance.

Check with your SAP Basis Administration team if you are not sure.

    Regards,
    Holger
