I have to face a large amount of Idoc that I need to transform and send under an XML format.

I wonder if it is faster to user the wM SAP adapter or to receive from a CFT application the files containing the IDOC.

I also wonder if it is faster to parse and IDOC or an XML file (with the same data).

The webm sap adapters are not designed to read files with IDOCS as generated from SAP.
The webm Enterprise adapters only can generate such files, but not read them.

The most straigh forward way is to just pass the IDOCS from SAP to the adapter, via TRFC and let the adapter do what it does best.

Otherwise you will have to re-invent the wheel bringing the IDOCS into the XML format yourself.
