  • 1.  SAP Adapter Installation

    Posted 03/31/04 05:46 AM

    Hello wMUsers,

I am trying to install the SAP Adapter under webMethods IS 6.1 on HP-UX 11. It appears though that the majority of people that have queries similar to this are using Windows, but I hope someone has the experience to help me…

The installation is calling for some SAP RFC multithreaded C libraries and there is the following error in the logs:
“java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException: JCO.classInitialize(): Could not load middleware layer ‘com.sap.mw.jco.rfc.MiddlewareRFC’ no sapjcorfc in java.library.path”

I am assuming from all this that there is some SAP software or component that needs to be installed on the server(?).

If this is the case, which bits do I ask our SAP people for? Or am I on the wrong track?

    Thanks in Advance,
    Scott Johnson

    hi,
you’ll need the JCO libraries from SAP in your classpath to correctly startup the SAP adapter.
these libraries can be downloaded from SAP Service Marketplace.
They are located in Connnectors > SAP Java Connector > Tools & Services >SAP Java Resource Adapter
There you’ll find versions for all platforms.
