  • 1.  sample proc AZNODEJS missing

    Posted 3 days ago

i'm using MFA for z/OS  2.3. I'm trying to setup the OIDC factor. The doc at Performing SSO by using Node

refers to a sample PROC AZNODEJS in XXX.SAZFSAMP , but this sample proc is missing in my SAZFSAMP  dataset as shipped in MFA 2.3.

How can i get the content of this sample proc ? Can anyone post it in a reply to this thread ?

    Thank you

What maintenance level of 2.3 are you on? There are a couple of important PTFs released that improved the overall experience of using the AZFOIDC1 factor (including the AZFNODEJS sample). My concern with just giving you the sample JCL is that it might require other back-end updates provided by the PTF in order to work.

Thank you hritik. I found out that my mfa code is at v2r3 ga level , therefore i don't have that sample PROC. My issue was that the v2r3 knowledge center doc is based on that PTF level, so that i found nowhere the script or command to start the nodejs application. I assumed the command  node bin/sso.js would do the trick, which it did. I was able to start the nodejs app and generate a CTC SSO token to logon successfully. I even created a start proc which is similar to the AZNODEJS in order to manage the startup/shutdown of the nodejs app.

Great to hear you're square away, Philippe- The maintenance adds some other nice features like setting some parameters in the panel, and supporting certificates being stored in RACF instead of USS. Good luck with the rest of your rollout!
