    Hi,

    Does samba solution rely on SBMv1?

    This question is for AIX systems. Please someone reply as customer want to know answer.

    No. Samba supports SMB1, SMB2 and SMB3.
    One can configure the Samba server to set the min/max smb protocol. 
    Till 4.11, SMB1 is enabled by default unless otherwise configured differently in smb conf file.
