I'm running a samba server on a two node HACMP cluster on AIX 5.2.
I have problems to implement a synch of the secrets.tdb file within the cluster.
The initial setup was to include this file withi a file collection in order to be sure that it will be the same on both HACMP node (remark: the fle in on not located on a shared storage). Unfortunatly, this file seems to be locked and can't be propagated via this method.
So, when a HACMP takeover occure, the samba server is well restarted on the stby node but it has never join the windows domain. This may be solved by a manual intervention but this is not really the solution I'm looking for.
Do you know how it would be possible to sync. this file, or even better to automatically recreate it without any manual intervention, neither on the AIX box nor on the windows domain?
Thanks for your feedback
