samba and TLS Support Question

    Hello all,

    i want to configure a samba client to use TLS.

    Two possible views/ways from my side.
    1. Update Samba Client from Version3 to 4, and try to get a samba config with native TLS support over smb.
    2. to configure the server to use LDAPS and in this case the complete connection will be used TLS.

    What is your best practise to solve this issue.
