    Hello Ayappan, hello Sanket, dear Team,

    I tried to install the salt package from the AIX toolbox, but unfortunately the init scripts to start and stop salt is only for Debian or Suse Linux and are not working in AIX. I attached the original init file for the salt master from the salt rpm.
    Are you planning to create a init file for AIX?

    We are in the process of updating salt. We will try to provide a working init script in the upcoming version.
