S3 vs EFS as a configuration storage, index storage and content storage

  • 1.  S3 vs EFS as a configuration storage, index storage and content storage

    Posted Mon May 16, 2022 09:45 AM
    Hi Team,

We  are evaluating storage options on AWS for CP4BA with a Client. We are implementing FileNet Content Services Containers to CP4BA. In this regard, we are comparing S3 and EFS as storage options available in AWS. We have to decide on which storage will configuration data, indexes, content will get saved. Are there any comparable benchmarks specifically for CP4BA and FileNet on which storage option makes more sense from a cost/performance perspective?

    thanks,

    Sunil

    Hi Sunil,

Last time I checked EFS was not supported with Openshift. You might want to check the current supported storage. We ended up implementing Openshift Container Storage.
