    Hi,

Are there are Study Sessions planned for the RTBMA Exam in 2017? Couldn't find anything, and would like to attend one as practice for the Exam.

    Thanks

    Hi Phil,

What timezone are you in?  Adding Lauren and Paolo as they do the scheduling for our classes and sessions.

Anyone else interested in a study session? Let us know here with your timezone so we can see what the demand is.

    Thank you Debbie!

Yes, philip.hayes@db.com">Phil Hayes  PMP® please let us know what time zone you are in and I can put in a request for a study session that will work well with your time zone.

We also have a sample RTBMA exam that you can take to practice.  You are able to search sample recognized in the Self-paced Course Catalog on your dashboard to locate the sample exam.

    Lauren

    Also philip.hayes@db.com">Phil Hayes  PMP®,

If you haven't tried taking the exam yet, you may want to consider doing so.  There is no additional cost to take the exam, it's included in your AAEP and there is no penalty if you don't pass on the first try.  That way, if you do pass, you don't need the study session, and if you don't, you'll have a better sense of the topics you may need more help on in the study session.

    Kind regards,
    Deb

Thanks @Debbie Hagen and @Lauren Pagan ... I am London based ... I may just 'bite the bullet' and try the test, see where I get ... any tips for subjects to revise?

    Thanks

    Phil

Hi Phil, yes... the exam  is multiple choice, approximately 50 questions, and is based on the things you learned in your various classes in the RTBMA Learning plan.  So it covers, data (loading and transforming), modeling, reporting and  TBM theory (TBM, ATUM, Hallmarks of Success).  For the TBM theory, if it's been a while since you viewed the explorer videos, you might consider reviewing them again.  I think it's only about 90 minutes to go through all of them.

This is an oldish page, but it gives you an idea of the types of things you'll need to know to pass the exam.  It's really all stuff that was covered in the various self-paced and instructor led courses.

Please do let me know if you have any questions. Also, I'm booked pretty solid next week, but if you want to jump on a skype call or something today, or the week of the 6th I could probably find some time where we could do a little impromptu study session.  Maybe take the exam first, and if you don't pass we can set up some time.

    Cheers,
    Deb

You could send me a private message on TBM Connect or at dhagen@apptio.com  if you'd like to set up a private study session.
