  • 1.  rsync is not working after package installation

    We have installed rsync with rpm -ivh command and after installing it is giving below error
    user@servername [/opt/freeware/bin] [0]
    $sudo rsync
    exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program rsync because of the following errors:
            0509-150   Dependent module /usr/lib/libcrypto.a(libcrypto.so.1.1) could not be loaded.
            0509-152   Member libcrypto.so.1.1 is not found in archive
     
    user@servername  [/opt/freeware/bin] [255]
    $

    Hi Ravi,

    Have you used --nodeps option while installing  and what is the openssl fileset installed in your machine  ?

    Hi Sangamesh,

    Yes I installed it with --nodeps as it was giving error regarding the libcrypto.so.1.1.

    Even I tried with yum but that also did not worked and stucking on same level of dependency resolution.
