  • 1.  rpm package issue

    hi dears,

    I have issue with installing nbmr-8.7.2608-0.aix6.1.ppc64.rpm and ncurses-6.1.3.aix6.1.ppc64.rpm
    which they are installed normally on another AIX host but on my cuurent host I have the below errors

    root@DCHQRVDEV:/mnt>rpm -ivh ncurses-6.1.3.aix6.1.ppc64.rpm
    error: failed dependencies:
    rpmlib(PartialHardlinkSets) <= 4.0.4-1 is needed by ncurses-6.1-3

    root@DCHQRVDEV:/mnt>rpm -ivh nbmr-8.7.2608-0.aix6.1.ppc64.rpm
    error: failed dependencies:
    libform.a(libform.so.6) is needed by nbmr-8.7.2608-0
    libmenu.a(libmenu.so.6) is needed by nbmr-8.7.2608-0
    libncurses.a(libncurses.so.6) is needed by nbmr-8.7.2608-0
    libpanel.a(libpanel.so.6) is needed by nbmr-8.7.2608-0
    ncurses >= 6.1 is needed by nbmr-8.7.2608-0
    screen >= 4.0.3 is needed by nbmr-8.7.2608-0
