  • 1.  Row_Number function in DVM

    Hi All,

    Does DVM supports Row_number() and partitioning the result sets? I tried adding row number and it keeps returning me the error that "Invalid token ROW_NUMBER found preceeding left parenthesis". 

    I couldn't find any reference to it in DVM manual too.

    Hello Prasann,

    DVM doesn't currently support the row_number() function. Are you attempting to connect to a SQL Server using that syntax with partition? 

    IBM is currently investing to support this and other SQL 99 functions for DVM.
