  • 1.  Rotating RACF Database encryption key with out IPL

    On todays call a concern was raised about how to rotate the key used to encrypted the RACF database without an outage.  There is a RACF utility called IRRUT200 with PARM=RENAMEACTIVATE that allows key rotation to be performed without an IPL.   For more information about the IRRUT200 utility, see z/OS Security Server RACF System Programmer's Guide
