Can anyone tell me some advantages of RosettaNet compared to EDIFACT ? I am working since 10 years with EDIFACT and I try to understand what is really new in RosettaNet.

I don’t think there any functional advantages.
The only real difference is that RNIF uses XML for its doc formats.

Of course - perception is very important - and if businesses insist on transacting with RNIF - then so be it. XML has a huge momentum in the software industry - which may drive a great deal of RNIF’s adoption.
