  • 1.  Rolling CT Forecast - Remaining YTD

Hello! 👋 Hoping someone can help.  Trying to create a metric that utilizes a rolling forecast that is created using prior actuals, and then I want to be able to see what remains as I progress month over month.  So looking at this rolling forecast I created in Excel, I summed the forecast column for the remaining months.  If I'm in August, I want to see $947k as the remaining 'forecast' for the year.  If I'm in September, it would then be $721k.  Any ideas on how to make this happen?  Been going back and forth using various TimePeriod formulas and haven't quite gotten where I need to be yet.  Thank you!!! 😊

Hello @Jenny Franklin. We did something like this to create a burn rate metric, a logical equivalent of what you're doing. I need to dig back into the details. Will update later.

@Guillermo Cuadrado, I found this, but it doesn't seem to be it, though - that or I didn't do it right - probably the latter ha!

SOLVED!  Teammate found it for me - a function I had never used/seen before called Annualize.  Didn't work as =Annualize(Cost) for my particular situation, but =Annualize(Cost YTD) did the trick!  Woohoo!!  😊🙌
