  • 1.  Rhapsody 9.0.1 trial license error

    Hi,
    I downloaded a trial version of IBM Engineering Rhapsody 9.0.1 but after install the software a license error does not allow me to execute it. 
    Type of error: Cannot find license file. 
    ps. There was no license.dat in the download file.

    Hi Anna,

    I think this is a common misunderstanding.  The 'download' was probably the terms and conditions, but there would have been a message saying Sales will be in contact with you shortly.  This can sometimes not be seen.
    Essentially you will get the temporary license from our Sales team shortly.

    If you don't please get back in touch with your local IBM sales team. Or try reapplying and checking you get the message above.

    Once you get the license you can specify it's location in an environment variable LM_LICENSE_FILE or TELELOGIC_LICENSE_FILE
