    From your explanation I understand, that all links in Portlet A navigate to B, so you need to parameterize Portlet B [with a preference

    Thanks for your input. As you have mentioned we are able to set the value using Extended Portlet Parameters. The solution what we want is how to retrieve the value from the URL. Can you please elaborate the sentence "parameterize Portlet B [with a preference

    Parameterizing portlet B: Add a preference to portlet B call it - returnUrl.
