So the next strange thing: when I use the 'Restructure' option to change from long to wide format and vice versa I get a file with only question marks for values and that's it. I can still navigate but not close the application. See the printscreen.

Hi again. Somehow, the application has gotten into a bad state. We can't replicate that here; restructure is working as documented. If you can, please send me the data, syntax, and steps you are following.
