    Dear all,
    I've been trying to download CPLEX for academic purposes, which seems to be free for academic institutions. I log in successfully using my institution's mail address in the Data Science portal, but then I head to the download link for CPLEX and I get the message "Requested resource is currently unavailable, please try again later!". It's been several weeks now, trying with different browsers, different OS and taking care of disabled ad-blockers. I've contacted support for a couple of times also, with no success.

    Could please anyone give me any tip or trick to try so I can get CPLEX Studio for academia?

    I'm getting the same message, but for SPSS Modeler. Actually, I'm getting this message when I click on most links on the SkillsBuild / academic portal. I'm registered with my University email, I've tried with 2 computers, several browsers, disabling pop-up blockers. Unable to download since almost a week. I've logged a ticket, but no response yet. I would like to know if anyone was able to resolve this issue.

    I'm also experiencing this issue! I've sent an email to  cos-ai-support@wwpdl.vnet.ibm,com but i got an automatic answer saying that they will come back only on Feb 27. @Carl Skipper Does this also happened to you?

    Hi Nathalia,
    I did indeed email this address and someone filled in for whoever was on vacation within a day and got me a direct download link and password.  I'm sure you'll get the same once they verify your login email address.  No one seems to understand what's wrong, but I verified the regular process not working on multiple browsers and computers.

    I'm facing issues downloading CPLEX for academic use. After successfully logging into the Data Science portal using my institution's email address, I encountered the error message "Requested resource currently unavailable, please try again later!" I've been trying different browsers, operating systems, and disabling ad-blockers without any luck. I've also reached out to support multiple times, but no resolution yet.

    Based on the number of 'me too' messages, it looks like IBM is not monitoring this discussion. I was able to download the community edition just now from:

    https://www.ibm.com/products/ilog-cplex-optimization-studio/pricing

    Maybe try this instead? 

    Community edition - Up to 1000 variables/ contraints

    This freemium edition comes with fill features and functionalities for unlimited time.

    FYI, I was asked if I was a student on the download form, and was able to download even after replying 'No'. No education email is needed, just my IBMid login for myibm.ibm.com that I use with IBM Cloud.
