  • 1.  report on group access by a user

    There are 8 users that were connected to a group they should not have been connected to. They have been removed but I am being asked if I can report on any access they used when they were connected. Using the Access Monitor data it appears it only reports on groups that the user is currently connected to. Is there a way to get this data for a group the user used to be connected to?

    Bonnie,

    One way might be to make a take a copy of the old RACF database (with the access still there) and check the sim_via_group. Or use RACF-Offline to create such a database and use it as input along with the historical access event records.

    The UI has some options in AM.1 -> Simulated fields selection -> Essential group Y/N etc. that might also help.
