  • 1.  Replication Queue

I have added entry in one of the master server with -l to prevent automatic replication of new entry such as idsldapadd -l. The entry got added in master server but when i check the replication status, it is not showing the newly added entry in queue. What could be the reason?

I would believe that adding something with "idsldapadd -l" that is the expected behavior. The queue is used to perform replication and -l is to avoid it...

When you are dealing with fixing replication problems (the 2 servers are out of sync) I normally use idsldapdiff. The idsldapdiff command has -S option that allows you to specify a subtree - if you give it a full DN it will compare (and eventually fix with -F) - this is very handy if you need to fix a few known DNs in the replication setup...
