Rename an instance

  • 1.  Rename an instance

    Posted Tue November 28, 2006 04:26 PM

    Hello!

    I want to rename an instance. I use the data loader special input format:

    <ino:request xmlns:ino="http://namespaces.softwareag.com/tamino/response2\“>
    <ino:object ino:id="”
    + id + “" ino:docname="”
    + newName + "">

    ------------ And here put the whole document content --------

    </ino:object>
    </ino:request>

    This makes the rename a time and memory consuming operation as I need to obtain the whole document and sent it back again.

    Is there another way to perform the rename?

    Thanks!

    Hi Alex,
    you could use the Tamino X-Plorer for this as well.
