  • 1.  Removing open ssl package openssl-1.0.1e-2.ppc

    Hello,

    As we are supposed to work with   IBM AIX open ssl filesets,
    should we remove  the  "old" rpm package  openssl-1.0.1e-2.ppc   ?

    Is it a recommended action    or     do we have to remove this "old" open ssl package when we have time ?

    Yes, you should remove openssl rpm and have only openssl installp fileset.
