  • 1.  remove jasper/birt jars from a project

    Posted 08/21/15 01:05 AM

    Hello,

I am trying to remove  jar files  from my project because I don't use them anywhere and I remove them from my build path and I get this error:

The project was not built because the classpath does not specify the required Jasper jar files.  Fix the problem, then try refreshing this project and rebuilding it since it may be inconsistent. What else do I have to change?

    Thanks!

Did you find the egl build path settings and the java build path settings in the properties of your project?

    Hi,

    I was looking at this.

can you be more specific on what jar files you removed and from what folders?  And what you updated?

Do you have any indication as to what is still being referred to?

Does the web.xml still refer to a class from one of the jar files?

Do you still have classes that refer to the BIRT/Jasper files in the src or EGLGen/JavaSource folders?  You can delete the folders under EGLGen/Javasource as they will be recreated the next time you generate.

Have you turned off EGL with Birt Support in the EGL project features (under properties)?

I did all that and everything is working but the service project and the richui project still have the red mark 'x'  but the project is running. I don't know why.

    Hi,

From the Problems tab, delete all the errors and the "X" should go away in your project.
