Hello Mitch,
To remove or restrict the search bar (omnibox) in Google Chrome on Android using enterprise policy, you'll need to use managed configurations via Android Enterprise.
This can be achieved by adding the following parameters in the POLICY >ANDROID ENTERPRISE SETTINGS > BROWSER > ALLOW BROWSER
Then under Generic Chrome Settings you need to set the following 2 Chrome Enterprise Policy values:
SearchSuggestEnabled: false,
DefaultSearchProviderEnabled: false
Even after disabling search, Chrome on Android will still show the "Search or type URL" placeholder text in the omnibox (address bar). Unfortunately, this UI string cannot be changed or removed via enterprise policy-it's hardcoded into the Chrome app.
Hope that helps

Subject: remove Google Search bar in Chrome for COSU enrollments.
When deploying a COSU iPad that opens to a defined url in Chrome, is there a set of commands or settings in Maas to hide the google search bar?
Thanks!
