At Apptio, we continuously evaluate our portfolio of solutions to ensure we are delivering high quality experiences for our customers and partners. 

We originally developed the Multi-Cloud Connector (MCC) with the vision of ingesting cost and usage reports from Public Cloud service providers such as AWS and Azure. With the acquisition of Cloudability in 2019, we formulated a strategy to consolidate our cloud ingestion methods to a single connectivity approach by leveraging capabilities within our Cloudability portfolio (Cloud Data Ingestion or CDI), to provide a consistent user experience across our customer base.

In connection with deploying this new cloud ingestion methodology (CDI), we have been working with our customers who leverage MCC to migrate them over to CDI. As a reminder, we announced deprecation of MCC in December 2024. As of July 31, 2025, Apptio will be removing the tile from our platform, and no new or exiting connections can be managed via MCC.

If you have not done so already, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or Customer Success Advisor immediately regarding the latest status of your deployment, and we can help you transition to this new experience as soon as possible, prior to July 31, 2025.
