I have two PVs ( hdisk0 and hdisk1 ) in one VG. hdisk0 has zero free PPs. hdisk1 has free PPs. Is it possible to move the data without affecting any thing from hdisk0 to hdisk1 to make free PPs in hdisk0. the reason is hdisk0 shows 100% and affecting performance.

    please suggest

    Regards

Yes you can run migratepv without downtime but it would be better to run it during a quiet time to avoid more performance issue.

If hdisk0 or hdisk1 are SAN attached devices then maybe some re-organisation work on the SAN would server you better.
