At the end of the reject, it says to reboot the system. How long can I wait to do this, and what are my risks. I called support and all they could say was 'stability' and had no idea about what could happen if I didn't.

    Anybody run like this before?

    Thanks.

Well worry not, what i would recommend it update the AIX back to TL 04. Even though it shows fail, do oslevel -rl 6100-04 and it will show the filesets that were backleveled or needs to be updated to.Sometimes if the LPP soure you have doesn't have an update for some fileset you had installed during previous updates/install. so do smitty remove for those, but again you have to know which ones to remove and which not. About the reboot you can reboot the box anytime you get a chance.

please follow the above procedure, once done, either email me at najuk75 at gmail dot com or paste the output here for :

    oslevel -rl 6100-04
    lppchk -vm3
