    what is difference between refresh pack and fix pack???
    how can we install these by using upgrade installer?.
    some body help me with clear steps that i should follow...

    Yes, the above link should be very helpful.

    Let me put it in simple words.

    Any IBM product uses 4 digit versioning scheme.

    Ex: IBM Websphere APP Server 6.0.0.0 , here 6.0 is the version

    0 : Refresh pack number
    0 : fixpack number

    WAS 6.1.0.28 - Version 6.1, refresh pack 0, fix pack number 28.
    WAS 6.0.2.15 - Version 6.0, Refresh Pack Number 2, fix pack 15
