    Hi
    Is the Informix 12.1version compatible with RedHat Linux 8?     if not what would be the recommended version of RedHat Linux to install Informix 12.1

    Hi Jose,
    Informix 12.10 will probably be installed on Red Hat 8.
    However, the following document states that Red Hat 8 is supported since Informix Server version 14.10.
    If you want to use version 12.10, it is better to use Red Hat 7. Or ask IBM (or HCL) if Informix 12.10 can be installed on Red Hat 8.

    Hi Jose,

    We used CentOS (free RedHat) and I did tests on version 8 because it uses kernel 4.
    As I had some problems, I recommend version 7!
