Hello,
I am trying to open a Redcap data file in SPSS. I have a MAC computer and followed all the directions for the export and entered the path name of the data file in the syntax considering I working on a  MAC with the OS Monterey 12.5.1. I have SPSS version 29. I continue to get this error message--334 EXECUTE The in-line data must appear before a procedure can be executed and before the data can be modified in the data editor. What do I do next?

Hi. Are you saying that you exported a database file from Redcap?
I'm not familiar with that, but from the internet I see that a CSV file is created.

To read that file into SPSS, you would select from the menus: File > Import Data > CSV Data

If that doesn't work, could you attach the file so I can try?
