    A user is suddenly receiving the message "The operating system is not presently configured to run this application" from spssengine while using SPSS.

    This is a Windows Server 2019 VM

    Running IBM SPSS Statistics Subscription 1.0.0.1406

    Also installed on this server of note:

    Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise 16.0.13172.20164 (this looks to have been updated recently)

    Malwarebytes 1.2.0.801

    Other than Microsoft 365 seemingly being update the server has not received any operating system updates since June 24th.

    I found the issue. Access Database Engine 2016 needed to be installed following the update to Microsoft 365 Apps.
