Receiving CA signed certificate at ISC

  • 1.  Receiving CA signed certificate at ISC

    Hi Team,

    O.S - RHEL
    WAS: 8.5.0.1

I am trying to enable SSL communication in my IBM TWS estate. For this I have created a certificate request (CSR) through Integrated Solution Console (ISC) and sent to my internal CA for signing.

Have referred the below link to create CSR
    www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/S...

Now I am facing trouble while receiving the certificate from CA. Could anyone please help me to understand the steps need to follow to receive the signed certificate from CA in Integrated Solution Console (ISC).

    Have couple of doubts here...

    1. Should I need to update my CA details anywhere in ISC before receiving certificate from CA?

    2. Following below links to receive the CA signed certificate in ISC
SSL Certificate and Key Management > Key stores and Certificates > Node default keystores > Personal Certificates > Receive certificate from Certificate Authority

    3. Should I provide any dummy file name in the certificate file name field to receive the certificate? If so, is there any specific file extension should be followed?

Referring below link to receive the certificate
    www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/S...

Am not sure about step 5 in the above link as it says "5. Type the full path and name of the certificate file.

For step#5 how to confirm the name of the certificate file? Could it be any file name? or should be same as CSR file name.

Please help me in understanding these basics.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Madhu
