  • 1.  RDT multiple users login issue

    Posted Tue April 29, 2014 07:33 AM

We recently installed the product- Rational Development and Test for System z 9.0 with an RVU license.

At the time of installation 15 TSO user ids have been created. But when 10 TSO Users are logged in at the same time, additional users are unable to login.

     1) We are getting the below error messages in the master terminal console.

     Error 1:

    *IKT030I TCAS LOGON PROCESS FAILURE PLU=TSO SLU=NETD.SCOTCP22

     Error2:

IKT011I TCAS UNABLE TO ACCEPT LOGONS, REASON CODE = 100

    2) Is there any way, we can increase the limit of the users accessing the system ? Kindly let us know the process to do the same

    Appreciate any suggestion/solution.

    Regards,

This message indicates that there aren't enough VTAM ACBs available to start the requested session.  You must have an APPL definition for every possible terminal that you would like to login.  You will need to review your VTAM definitions in your VTAMLST member used to start VTAM. Try the following book for help:  http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/zos/v1r13/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.zos.r11.ikjb400/tsoenviron.htm

You may need system programmer assistance to address this problem.
