    Is RDQM-DR compatible with any HA options? I know it is not compatible with RDQM-HA, as this is clearly stated in the documentation, but I have not been able to find any clear statement about the compatibility of RDQM-DR with either MI Queue Managers or OS level HA Clusters?

    Hi Arthur,

    RDQM relies on underlying DRBD technology. DRBD is a kernel level service that works with local storage, so I can't see any way that that could work with network attached storage required for MIQM.

    I don't know enough about failover clusters and linux to advise on that, but I think it unlikely that it would work. You would need to have DRBD active against the shared disk volume which gets mounted on the active server, so that updates are replicated to the DR instance. As I said, I don't know, but it seems doubtful to me that DBRD would be compatible with the shared mounted filesystem.
