Radial Chart - Active Report - Shows Only 0 or 100

Can someone (anyone) clarify how radial charts are supposed to work?  I have one category and one measure.  When the category is populated with more than one descriptive value the radial chart will show a value in the center of the circle but it doesn't match the value of the measure.  And, when the radial chart is filtered for just one descriptive value then the measure's value in the center of the circle will read either 0 or if the value is greater than 0 then it'll read 100.  I don't get it, what is it trying to show?

    Hi Shawn,

Thanks for reaching out to the community!

It may be easier to think of it as a radial bar chart. Instead of x and y coordinates, these bars are mapped to a circle. It requires at least one measure to create and that measure without any other context shows 100%, but is more usable by using the color slot and potentially the maximum value slot depending on your use case.

When a field is applied to color, then it will associate the maximum value associated with the measure as 100% and other bars will be relative to it For example, here is a radial chart that shows married couples (blue) have the highest contribution to quantity sold (100%) and single status purchases make up 46% of that number.

    Hope that helps,
