I have a report that refused to display all the rows for YTD items. Without going into too much detail, if a vendor received payments in January, the January report had YTD dollars. However, if the vendor did not receive any payments in February, the YTD amount was not displayed. The YTD spend simply vanished from the report altogether.
I had published the row, Vendor Name, from the modeled table (screen shot below) in the 11_4 Vendor Insights perspective and used the check box "show all rows in time based query" but the issue remained.
When determining the "fix" for this issue, Apptio advised me that I should pull the Vendor Name from the perspective, instead of the Vendor Name from the modeled table, then publishing. The row in the table is the published Vendor Name in the perspective, so the results when using either should have been the same. This seems extremely odd. I have never experienced this before in r11 or r12.
Has anyone else been forced to use a row name from a perspective, instead of the modeled table?
