I am trying to change the data source from "File Upload" to an "Existing Table" in the Transformation Pipeline and I have the document checked out. It does not allow me to to select the "Existing Table" Option and does nothing when I click on it. Basically I want to change the "Upload" step to "Existing Table" step.

It allows me to select "Enter Manually" option but not the "Existing Table" option.

what is it I am doing incorrectly?

You can't switch from "File Upload" to "Existing Table". If you want to create a new table from an existing table you need to check out the table and right click the final transformation step to do so. Once you have done that can you decide if you want the copied table to show the beginning or the end of the transformation steps.

Thanks for your response. Appreciate it! However, If you look in the "Source" step of the Transformation Pipeline it has 3 Options. 1. File Upload 2. Enter Manually" and 3. Existing Table. I currently have the source set to "File Upload" and I want the source to be now "Existing Table" and I am not able to switch the Source. I am not sure if I framed my original question correctly.

Oh - no, you can't change that either. You need to revert changes and re-create table if you want that specific name you've used. When you revert changes for at data upload remember to revert both the upload of data and the table creation. It is also my experience if you upload an excel file and suddenly want to upload a txt file, you would need to re-create the table as well.
