I just installed SPSS statistics and when I open the application, it always quit unexpectedly. I wonder what's wrong

When you say it quits unexpectedly, does this happen as part of the product starting up? Or is it failing while you are trying to use it. You don't mention the version of IBM SPSS Statistics or the platform, so there is not a lot more I can say to guide you.

Yopu might check "Fix Central" to see if there are any released Fixpack or Interim Fixdes for your platform and version that might have dealt with your particular issue.

It happened as part of the product starting up.

I'm sorry for an unclear information earlier.

I recently downloaded SPSS statistics 27 on my MacBook Pro OS Catalina version 10.15.7. The installation process went smoothly.

However, when I try to open the software, an error message appears saying "SPSS quit unexpectedly".

When I click "reopen", the same error message saying "SPSS quit unexpectedly" reappeared.

I don't know what is the problem.

I tried quitting SPSS and reopening, restarting my laptop, uninstalling SPSS then reinstalling then try to open it again.

Unfortunately, same thing happened.

I went to the link you provide but I do not really understand what to look for.

Please help.
