I thought the default alternate hierarchy is essentially the same as other alternate hierarchy once alternate hierarchy feature is enabled. I can update/remove it as usual and it just has the same name as the dimension. However, after removing the default alternate hierarchy (Leaves hierarchy is still there of course). The HierarchyExists function still returns it as True. Can someone help to explain? Thanks.

The default alternate hierarchy behaves differently from other alternate hierarchies. Removing it does not automatically remove all references or metadata associated with it. The `HierarchyExists` function may still return `True` due to lingering references or system settings. Check for residual configurations or caches that might be affecting the function's result.
